CHESAPEAKE BAY RETRIEVERS

Red was never able to have any pups so her name doesn't show up in pedigrees. However, she is a very important part of our kennel. Red is still a number one hunting dog at nine years old. She has appeared in a Quebec film, Le Survenant. She also worked on a television series. Now she just goes hunting and bosses everyone around in the kennel.

Red shows the importance of correct structure in a hunting dog. She still moves as well now as when she was a young dog. Barring any accidents, she should be able to hunt into old age with enjoyment. Red also has a correct coat, very thick and harsh. Many spayed females develop a coat that is too soft but Red's has not.
